WELCOME to the FITNESS section of UNICISE. Everything that links from here is to do with exercising. However, before you go any further, we want to address a common misconception in the fitness world. Your gender does not matter. No matter who you are and how you identify yourself, everything on the FITNESS section of UNICISE applies to you. It is common practice in gyms for women to stay away from the weight areas as they often believe that by doing exercises normally geared towards men they will become big and muscular. This is not the case. Similarly, it is common practice for men in gyms to not partake in exercises normally geared towards men as they do not want to become skinny. This is not the case. A female can still retain a "feminine" look by lifting heavy weights. A male can still retain a "masculine" look by lifting only his bodyweight! It depends on your goals rather than your gender.
